3D Live T-Shirt Customizer
Project Overview & Case Study
An interactive, web-based 3D product configurator developed with Three.js and React. Users can customize apparel in real time — changing fabric colors, toggling textures, uploading custom graphic prints, and inspecting the model from any angle with smooth 360-degree orbit controls.
The Challenge: Mapping user-uploaded 2D artwork onto complex organic 3D cloth geometry without UV distortion while maintaining smooth 60fps rendering in mobile browsers.
The Solution: Utilized Three.js MeshStandardMaterial with dynamic canvas decal projections and optimized geometry instances for instantaneous color and graphic updates.
